...er-plugins-bad to make it work. However, gstreamer-plugins-bad-free is indeed installed, and is listed as an installation from anaconda, so it is on the media. I didn't specifically select it in the package set I installed. I didn't look to see if any third-party packages have it.... lessee.... nope, didn't find the 'Game Music Emu' (gstreamer-plugins-bad-extras contains this in Fedora 25) anywhere, but I reserve the right to be wrong. Validating two models from one form
Howdy, I''m working on my first RoR project, and I want to build a form. The tricky thing is, this form needs to insert / update against two models, each with their own validation rules. Unfortunately, I''m having an incredible amount of difficulty with the error handling, specifically the fields wrapped in <div class=''fieldWithErrors''></div>

CentOS-5.5 Live CD & netinstall
According to <http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOSLiveCD5.5> "There is a "Network Install" option on the Live CD that is the same as our CentOS-5.5-i386-netinstall ISO". I've looked quite carefully at my CentOS-5.5 Live CD (on a USB stick), and I don't see a Network Install option anywhere. Could some kind soul explain where it can be found,

Help with mysql_adapter.rb?

I''d like to see what the "sql" variable is in the "select" method of mysql_adapter.rb to try and see what''s going on. Lessee... I am using MySQL 4.1 with a user account without a password. I''m running the latest stable ruby and rails packages (installed today). I''ve tried both webrick and lighttpd and neither matters. Labeling charts within a loop
Hi All: This may turn out to be very simply, but I can't seem to add the name of the school to a chart. The loop I created is below that subsets a dataframe and creates a chart for each school based on certain variables. As it stands now, they title includes the school's ID number. Instead, I want to replace this with the school's actual name, which is stored in a variable called

5.5 & gspca
Irritating quirkyness: we have a bunch of videocams. To use, we use gspca. Usually, on an upgrade, I just go into the gspca directory (which appears, from their website, to have not been updated since '07), make clean, make, make install. Having gone up to 5.5, did the same. What's happening now is that it works, delivers the mpgs... but dumps errors in the logs: <snip> kernel:

question about WINEPREFIX
I wanted to ask to the wine experts something about WINEPREFIX or the crossover bottles... how does the concept of "bottles" compares/differs with the concept of application virtualization (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_Virtualization) used by VMware's Thinstall (http://www.thinstall.com/products/virtualization_suite.php) (aside for the .exe container*) and

interview request for ppl who have Shockwave/.Firefox working
For a long time now I've wanted to be able to watch videos. I've done the "try this!" and "try that!" method and it hasn't worked well. So I'm wondering if anyone running CentOS 5.5 has Shockwave on Firefox working. Currently it works for me with short videos-- up to two or three minutes long. However, when Shockwave is enabled, CPU usage jumps to 99%,

First Time Setting up RAID
Arch = x86_64 CentOS-6.4 We have a cold server with 32Gb RAM and 8 x 3TB SATA drives mounted in hotswap cells. The intended purpose of this system is as an ERP application and DBMS host. The ERP application will likely eventually have web access but at the moment only dedicated client applications can connect to it. I am researching how to best set this system up for use as a production host
