Perhaps! and buildbots cover how many LLVM Backend targets? thanks!

Hi LLVM developers,
llc -march=mips -debug-only=isel was able to work in Nov 8 2017

Elasticity in Leslie Matrix
Dear R-users,
I would like to calculate elasticities and sensitivities of each parameters
involved in the following transition matrix:
A <- matrix(c(
sigma*s0*f1, sigma*s0*f2,
s, v
), nrow=2, byrow=TRUE,dimnames=list(stage,stage))
The command "eigen.analysis" avaliable in package "popbio" provides

make fails with samba-3.5.4 Solaris 9
Hi,
I am having a problem getting a Makefile after I run configure as follows:
./configure --prefix=/opt/samba-3.5.4 --with-ads --with-krb5=/opt/samba-3.5.4/include/ --with-shared-mod
ules=idmap_rid --with-ldap=/opt/samba-3.5.4/include/ldap.h
There is no Makefile generated. Configure runs successfully. The error I get is:

R and reading matlab compressed files
Is there any way to read these files (standard .mat files, created by
matlab version 7 onwards are compressed)? I know that R.matlab doesn't
read them (it even says in the file MatlabServer.m "Matlab v7 saves
compressed files, which is not recognized by R.matlab's readMat()" (lines
47-8)).
I know I should be able to make R call Matlab and transfer data (not that

template.expects_render?
Hi All,
I''m trying to make use of template.expects_render, is outlined in
David''s post(http://blog.davidchelimsky.net/articles/2007/06/28/
template-expects_render). I get an undefined method error on
expects_render. I made sure I had the 1.0.8 gem as well as
reinstalling the plugin and redoing the bootstrap. Still no luck. So
I created a clean project, installed the

How to objcopy via LLVM toolchain for armv7e-m ELF32LE?
Hi LLVM developers,
As PR35281 mentioned:
$ llvm-objcopy -O binary llvm-cortex-m7.elf llvm-cortex-m7.bin
llvm-objcopy: 'llvm-cortex-m7.elf': The file was not recognized as a
valid object file.
if (ELFObjectFile<ELF64LE> *o =
dyn_cast<ELFObjectFile<ELF64LE>>(&Binary))

Schedules, latency and register liveness for complex instructions
Hi Martin,

(the next instruction does not wait for the previous to complete). This
leads to fairly complex scheduling, but can be generally accommodated
well in LLVM.
Thanks for sharing your usecase about instruction scheduling, I am
learning Instruction Selector by reading ARM and AMDGPU target's source
code, then

use tracemem to dump content in function read/write
Hi Expert
I want to use dtrace to monitor the content change of one file. I made following scripts,
#!/usr/sbin/dtrace -s
inline int MYPID = $1;
syscall::write:entry
/pid == MYPID/
{
tracemem(arg1, arg2);
printf("\n");
}
It always has an following error
bash-3.00$ sudo dumpFIFO.dtrace 3836
dtrace: failed to compile script ./dumpFIFO.dtrace: line 19: tracemem( ) argument #2

-debug-only only works on builds with assertions enabled. Your version
string says optimized build and doesn’t mention assertions.

[RFR] JDK-8156980: Hotspot build doesn't have -std=gnu++98 gcc option
it's difficult to use llvm tools like sanitizers on openjdk sources,
because of the "cheating" - relying on undefined behavior, and the JIT.
