Samba4 Internal DNS and pfSense DNS Resolver
...our pfSense machine]
there is no reason why an authoritative nameserver would forward a
request to his own domain no matter if it's samba, named or somethign else
any authoritative nameserver is supposed to know *every* record within
his own zones and you can't have half of them somewhere lese except
subdomain delegation but *not* for simple hosts like "xmpp.domain.tld"

Zeitreihen problem
Hallo!
I lese gro?e Zeitreihen in R ein z.B. mit:
> disc<-read.table("F:/R/DATA/discount_rate_usa.txt")
disc hat dann folgende Struktur:

SWAT: chdir failed - the server is not configured correctly
...browseable = No
I put the configuration file in /opt/samba-3.0.0/lib/smb.conf, because
it seemed to be the most senseful output of "strings
/opt/samba-3.0.0/samba/bin/swat | grep smb.conf".
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks a lot,
Alexander Skwar

Schoenfeld residuals for a null model coxph
Hi,
I have a coxph model like
coxph(Surv(start, stop, censor) ~ x + y, mydata)
I would like to calculate the Schoenfeld residuals for the null, i.e the same model where the beta hat vector (in practical terms, the coeff vector spat out by summary()) is constrained to be all 0s --all lese stays the same.
I could calculate it by hand, but I was wondering if there is a way of doing it with resid() -- resid(my.coxph.mod, type = 'schoenfeld') works wery well for the true Schoenfeld residuals, but I haven't figured out how to use it constraining the beta hat vector to be al...

packet loss with re(4)
With FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE, I'm finding significant packet loss
(sometimes 85%).
If I insert an Intel nic (fxp), there is nil packet loss with similar
tests (ping -c 100).

I have implemented a small local network. I use pfSense as Firewall and Gateway, I have all my servers inside a DMZ, except the domain controllers that are on the LAN.
LAN: 10.10.20.0/24
DMZ: 10.10.30.0/24
DC1: 10.10.20.2
