Resampler saturation
...l signal amplitude is 0.8 or 26214. After 2x upsampling, the peak level is about 30000 -> 114 % !!! (plus the output is kinda weird) Is this a bug ? Is it possible to fix it ? (I use version speex 1.2beta2, because newer versions just don't work on my platform) Best regards. -- St?phane LESAGE ATEIS International -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Blackfin port on Visual DSP, Michael Shatz ?
...rt... If you're reading this. Would you share your files ? Jean-Marc, I don't want to come back on the debate, but I think you should include the VDSP architecture. (there is also a problem with variables named "bank" which is a compiler keyword...) Best regards. -- St?phane Lesage ATEIS International

Patch for Analog Devices compiler & fixed-point AGC

Patch for Analog Devices compiler & fixed-point AGC
...ot an option for me, because I need: - a small RTOS, where I can control hardware directly, and the VDK is just fine - an IDE with JTAG debugging, and VDSP is good enough. But maybe I'm wrong and we can debug using Eclipse without the gdbserver running on the linux target ??? -- Stephane Lesage ATEIS International

Blackfin port on Visual DSP, Michael Shatz ?
...a problem with variables named "bank" > which is a compiler keyword...) You don't even need that part of the code actually. Try getting the git/svn version where I actually did a split into libspeex and libspeexdsp. The one you need is libspeex only. VisualDSP++ with enabled BFIN_ASM
Hi I'm trying to integrate your speex codec on our custom Blackfin board and without uCLinux. I am using ADI-supplied VisualDSP++ IDE and corresponding toolchain. My question is: Is there anybody who ported speex with enabled BFIN_ASM to VisualDSP++ ? Best Regards, Stefan Voss -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

VisualDSP++ with enabled BFIN_ASM
...RAM. I'm using speex because of wide-band, and I'm pretty disapointed by performance considering it's slower than ADI's MP3 codec (10/20 MIPS for decoding/encoding of 44100 Hz @ 64 kbit/s). But maybe Jean-Marc would say the comparison is point-less ? Best regards. -- Stephane Lesage ATEIS International

error handling in upssched.c
While looking into Laurent Lesage's problem with upssched, I noticed something in exec_cmd(): http://boxster.ghz.cc/projects/nut/browser/trunk/clients/upssched.c#L79 In the man pages for system(3) on both OS X and Linux (Debian sarge), I do not see any mention of errno being set. The error code is returned by system, and I a...

eaton evolution not shutting down
Hi all, I just changed my old MGE ellipse for a evolution 850 (now eaton). I can connect using mge-shut (newmge-shut doesn't work). But I have a few issues. I lloked around on NUT web-site and googled with no luck. Using debian lenny on 2.6.18 kernel (due to some ISDN driver that doesn't work with earlier kernels) 1) the most annoying is that I cannot shutdown the UPS. here is a trace :
