Help
...tens to stream in .mp3 format. I feel that this will increase process power because it has to do 1 extra job of converting it to mp3 and stream it. That's it no prob. If this could be done, could you please send me a complete copy of the config file and instructions on how to do it? Thanks Lennox PS. I already know how to use Icecast2 and have streamed from it before in .ogg format. Thanks again

[Aarch64 00/11] Patches to enable Aarch64
..., I look forward to seeing what you find out. BTW, I was wondering if you tried replacing the SIG2WORD16 macro using the vqmovns_s32 intrinsic? I'm sure it would be faster than the C code, but in the grand scheme of things it might not make much difference. Opus floating-point NEON jump table question
...ecause many NEON intrinsics optimizations can benefit both fixed-point and floating-point encoder. So if it's safe enough to enable MAY_HAVE_NEON in floating-point by default, it could speed up floating-point NEON encoder a little bit. arm64 support
I have used the patch to build opus 1.1. Although I have not tried the latest git master, will try that. Will that work for armv7, armv7s and arm64? ...accuracy, but there shouldn't be any reason to do that in ARM64. Anyway I'll stop talking now. I'm not saying that the inline assembly isn't faster, but I don't think it's giving you as much of a gain over C as you think. --John Ridges On 11/13/2015 9:30 AM, Jonathan Lennox wrote: >> On Nov 12, 2015, at 12:23 PM, John Ridges <jridges at masque.com> wrote: >> >> One other minor thing: I notice that in the inline assembly the result (rd) is constrained as an earlyclobber operand. [Aarch64 00/11] Patches to enable Aarch64
Any speedup from the intrinsics may just be swamped by the rest of the encode/decode process. But I think you really want SIG2WORD16 to be (vqmovns_s32(PSHR32((x), SIG_SHIFT))) On 11/19/2015 2:52 PM, Jonathan Lennox wrote: >> On Nov 16, 2015, at 4:42 PM, Jonathan Lennox <jonathan at vidyo.com> wrote: >> >> I haven?t yet tried replacing SIG2WORD16 (or silk_ADD_SAT32/silk_SUB_SAT32) with Neon intrinsics.
