[PATCH] common/initcall: Extern linker symbols with correct types.
Coverity IDs 1054956, 1054957 Coverity pointed out that we applying array operations based on an expression which yielded singleton pointers. The problem is actually that the externs were typed incorrectly. Correct the extern declaration to prevent straying into undefined behaviour, and relying on the lenience of GCC to work. Quote me on that [puppet best practice]
Another point of disparity between how I see others write Puppet manifests and the Best Practice that I''ve adopted at my institution is the use of quoting. In Puppet, you can get away with not quoting values or references if there isn''t a special character or a keyword being used (e.g. package { openssh: ...} or User[agirl]). However, even though that is possible, to make

what is the difference between survival analysis and (...)
...: could someone provide me with a dataset (preferably real) where there is a striking difference between estimated RRs and/or between P-values? and of course I am interested in theoretical arguments and references. sorry that this question has nothing to do with R and thank you in advance for your leniency. [LLVMdev] The Trouble with Triples
...esumably, this code was added because there was a real possibility of having incompatible modules (i.e. different triples) so we shouldn't rely on the tool options here. For this the serialization via metadata makes sense to me. We can then compare and merge TargetTuples with target-appropriate leniency and/or strictness. Exactly. That's why I suggested to not touch the triple and to add the rest as metadata. So that previous versions of Clang could still compile and link new IR and vice-versa. The triple still plays the part of the bare minimum in the new scheme, and that's not going aw...

Replace serialized Triples with serialized TargetTuples in LLVM-IR. > a. Maintain backwards compatibility with IR using triples, at least for a while. I don't think we need to change the plan. We're just...

[LLVMdev] The Trouble with Triples
On 30 July 2015 at 15:30, Daniel Sanders <Daniel.Sanders at imgtec.com> wrote: > I haven't fully researched why the triple is there but one reason is to make backends target the same target as the frontends. Consider the case where clang is used to generate IR and then llc is used to compile it. We currently use the information in the IR to set the GNU triple, the target features,

PowerWalker and megatec_usb
Hi! I've (finally) decided to try and make my PowerWalker work with megatec_usb. So far it seems the agiler subdriver is the way to go, but it doesn't work. The initial detection process sometimes succeeds in 1 out of 5 "Q1" commands, but that's about it (which is better than what the krauler subdriver can do... absolutely nothing). So, what needs to be done to obtain more

Passing arguments between apply and l(s)apply functions vs. nested for loop
Hi R community, I have a question concerning passing arguments between apply and lapply? Or maybe, once my problem is explained, the question is really about how to best transform my nested for loops into list/matrix operations; I am just beginning this transformation away from nested for loops, so I beg of you to have some lenience regarding my ignorance. Part I: I used a set of nested for

Upgrade 2.2.27 to 2.3.9.2: master(imap): net_connect_unix(imap) failed: Resource temporarily unavailable
Yes, I realize this. That is why we are introducing the directors to the cluster. We are also working on doing Dovecot LDA/LMTP delivery, to improve Dovecot's ability to react to new messages. Currently we are dropping email directly into the Maildir through other facilities, which works -fine-. I realize however that IDLE is most likely not working properly with

[LLVMdev] [3.7.0] Two late issues with cross compilation to mips
Hi, Sorry for the late report but I've only just found these issues. Llvm.org isn't working for me at the moment but I'll file tickets once it is. The issues are: 1. Almabench has some significant numerical differences and fails the reference check for some configs. I'm investigating this one at the moment but early indications are that it's a similar (but different)
