Beginner help: Excluding directories by pattern
I apologize in advance for asking a beginner question, but I really could not figure this from the manual page. I want to copy some files with rsync, and not copy others. The stuff that I do not want to copy looks like this: System Volume Information/_restore*/RP* WINDOWS/Prefetch/* Documents and Settings/leila/Local Settings/Application Data/Google/Chrome/Application/*/Installer/chrome.7z

Rotate x-axis label on log scale
Hi I'd appreciate some help with plotting odds ratios. I want to rotate the labels on the x-axis by 45 degrees. The usual way of doing this, using text - e.g. text(1, par('usr')[3]-2.25..) - gives no result when the y-axis is a log scale. I guess this is because, as the par help says, for a logarithmic y-axis: y-limits will be 10 ^ par("usr")[3:4] Does anyone know

After the config file is loaded, the server locks up. If the config file is set to load from local disk, it locks after displaying the message "Booting from localdisk". If I have it pointed to another image, I get garbage characters and then it locks up. See the end of this message to see someone who had a similar problem. repeatability/intraclass with nested levels
I have a spectrophotometric dataset with repeated measures of a value at 200 wavelengths for each of 150 individuals. I would like to use the repeated samples to at each wavelength to look at measurement/observer error, compared to difference between individuals error I have looked at doing this with icc{irr} or using an anova approach, but I am unclear how to acheive this given that there

\\Pettit Connect As: Password: On the server side, I didn't get far because the domain name come up NULL so it failed on that test. Below are two logs log98.txt and log2000.txt that show full debug info. I might just have a stupid configuration or installation mistakes. I am sure that my basic configuration must work since it is a very typical setup. Any help will be highly appreciated

"conversion error" and NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
Hi list, sorry in case I do ask a FAQ, but I did in fact find some more mentions of a problem like this, but always without a solution. I upgraded our Samba server today (from 2.10/SuSE to 3.0x/Debian) and have problems with some of the clients (Windows XP). When trying to access a share from these clients, I get a NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE, and increasing the log level reveals several occurences
