Problem with ownership of non-root files at destination
I'm using rsync to mirror my Sharp SL-5500 Linux PDA home directory to my Linux desktop over a TCP/IP-on-USB link. I'm running the following command as root on the 5500: /home/QtPalmtop/bin/rsync -av /home/zaurus \ 192.168.129.1::zaurus I'm running the rsync server out of xinetd. I have verified with 'ps' that the server, when it starts, is running as root. The files are

[LLVMdev] Order of code generation
After enabling assertions and recompilation I still get this error. ~/bin/llvm$ llc -view-isel-dags t3.bc llc: Unknown command line argument '-view-isel-dags'. Try: 'llc -help' llc: Did you mean '-fast-isel-abort'? and I see the view-edge bundles option but get the following error. ~/bin/llvm$ llc -view-edge-bundles t3.bc Writing

Save user passwords in clear text
Is it possible to save user passwords as clear text through dovecot? I am currently using MD5 passwords and I allow only "plain and login? mechanisms but I want to switch my database to clear text as this will give me the ability to use more mechanisms such as CRAM-MD5. Is this possible? Thank you

find closest value in a vector based on another vector values
Dear All, would you please provide your thoughts on the following: let us say I have: a <-c(1,5,8,15,32,69) b <-c(8.5,33) and I would like to extract from "a" the two values that are closest to the values in "b", where the length of this vectors may change but b will allways be shorter than "a". So at the end based on this example I should have the result

[LLVMdev] Using -view-legalize-dags
I'm trying to debug an issue in codegen but when using: llc -view-legalize-dags -O1 -march=x86-64 -o c-01.s c-opt.bc I get a .dot file and while it has the DAG the nodes do not have any text. I'm probably doing something very stupid but I cannot figure what it is can anyone point out what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Ben I'm on Unbunto 9.3: dotty version 96c

pxelinux doesn't start boot some kernels
Hello, I'm playing with this issue several days and can't find why pxelinux boots kernels without problems and some doesn't start booting at all. It's not depend on kernel size or version, probably on kernel config or some magic. But there are kernels which boot anytime and kernles which boot never. How can i set debug/verbose mode in PXELINUX? This computer is based on dual

fs quota backend bug
Hi, I maintain postfix mailserver with sudo enabled dovecot LDA using multiple uids. I want to enforce quotas per-unix-user (which can have multiple domains with multiple emails set up using postfixadmin), so I have set up a FS quota backend with imap_quota plugin. Unfortunately, the quota appears to work (when i disable chrooting) according to dovecot-info.log, but doesn't send anything over

v2.0.9 -segfault in lib21_fts_solr_plugin.so (G.Nau)
Interesting since imap_acl also makes dovecot segfault. Maybe there is a problem in the way Dovecot loads plugins? Error: last_login_dict: Failed to write value: dict-server returned failure: sql dict: commit failed: Field 'password' doesn't have a default value
Hi, after upgrading my database I kept on getting those errors. It seems like later versions of databases have strict mode enabled by default and it must either be disabled or change the dovecot database schema. Besides the password, would anyone know what other fields must be changed to the dovecot schema and have a default value? Is there any other dovecot schema for strict mode? Lefteris
