[Steam] Left4Dead isn't launching
...dy did the trick with "gameoverlayrenderer.dll" but game still isn't launching. ( furthermore those settings disappear after computer restart ) [Image: http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/6215/52947649.jpg ] It goes like this. Steam launch itself without any problems. I click to play left4dead2, it shows me loading screen and after about 2 or 3 sec ( and sometimes not even that much ) it goes somewhere and game doesn't start.

Launching Source engine games results in crash, small res
...to launch Source based games the screen goes black and then it resizes the resolution to something like 1024x600. I am able to get the Left 4 Dead intro movie to play with this script: WINEPREFIX=~/.wine.steam wine /home/l33/.wine.steam/drive_c/Program\ Files/Steam/steamapps/common/left\ 4\ dead/left4dead.exe I've tried it in KDE with compositing off or on.
