more or less pager
...ata)
Please ignore this if there is a more proper way of doing this in R
(preferrably by default without the more()), but also please include
some reference to this under keywords `pager', `more' or `less' in the
documentation.
Developers, thanks for all the work.

Clearing the heal-failed and split-brain status messages
...t would be trivial to setup if the failed status is / can be removed from the list when they are resolved.
I noticed the messages do get cleared when you restart the glusterd daemon but that seems a bit harsh thing to do just to clear the messages.
FYI: Running gluster 3.3 on SL6

overloading base function
...e following object(s) are masked from package:base :

Is there a recommended way to do this style of "overloading" (albeit a
completely different kind of function), or am I simply not supposed to
use the name of an existing function in my packages?
Cheers,

Does the rsync/xdelta algorithm *need* to write a new file?
...out doing in-place patching of files using
delta's?
Another application where this would do wonders is people that rsync
complete ISO images: they would not need to reserve space for an
entire extra ISO on their systems.
Doei, Arthur. (Wondering if it is at all possible...)

effect size
Hi,
Having searched google '[R] aov effect size' without any results I
wonder if I not completely miss something.
Is there any R function that calculates the effect size of an AOV's main
effect or interaction effect? It should be related to the F's and the
degree of freedom of the error, but the multitude in numbers in aov()
baffle me a bit.
Thanks,

Activerecord default order by
Hi Mailinglist,
I hope this isn''t a stupid question, but i would like to have a default
order by in my model for all queries made by activerecord. And if i
would like to chance the order i just use :order=>"field" so the default
order by is overrided.
I think this is a basic option of activerecord, but i haven''t found the
answer in the docs.
Kind Regards,
