Hi there,
Apologies first off, if this is the wrong mailing-list
I was taking a look at ways to contribute to the project and stumbled
upon "help with the main CentOS website rebuild effort". The WebsiteVer2
page [https://wiki.centos.org/WebsiteVer2] looks outdated though and I
think the rebuild is complete, apart from the docs page.
How is best to get involved with overhauling the

There aren't many open tickets there, as the website hasn't had that
much focus.

Maia Mailguard
OK sever hours of grepping through the output of "yum list available,"
google, checking rpmfind, Dag, Fedore Extras, etc., and there doesn't
seem to be a RPM for Maia Mailguard.
If there is one please point me in the right direction and beat me
over the head with the correct way to find RPMs in the future.

Fw: Sendmail vs. Postfix
While we are speaking of mailserver related software,
Mailscanner looks to have some great features, but I haven''t been able to
determine that it has user-controllable settings and quarantines.
For those folks that need more of a service provider approach as opposed to
a corporate-friendly approach, or any combination of the two, check out Maia

Asterisck as a Fujistu 9600 VOIP Gateway
Hello,
Is there anyone out there who is using asterisk as a VoIP Gateway to a
Fujitsu 9600? We have the existing system in place, and I have a mini
gateway functioning using a devel kit from digium. I am a systems admin,
and know near nothing about the Fujitsu, and could really use some "newbie"
help, if anyone's got such a system running.
Many Thanks,

PowerDNS binaries on centosplus?
Hi everyone,
How does one go about putting a request for getting a package included
in centosplus? We are heavy users the product PowerDNS and are keen to
see that be included in the centosplus repository, so it can be
compiled against other recent packages like MySQL5 etc.
Any pointers will be helpful

Voicemail() application returning -1 on a hangup
...to work for when you time
out. The h,1 which I thought might catch it when a person hangs up in
Voicemail(), doesn't.
The behavior of Voicemail() should allow you to differentiate between a real
error (out of disk space for voicemail, for example) and the most common
behaviour of message leavers (hanging up when done). Perhaps that should be a
bug report. But how can I work around this ?
Would it be easy to patch the C code of app_voicemail.c to not have this
behavior ? I looked over it but I could not make headway on the first look.

Understanding windows 2000 clients
..., I have had Win98 on my work portable, and I have understood
what I am doing. At work, I logged on to a domain (probably real NT
servers), and at home I have had samba pretend to be the same domain. So
when I logged on at home I have been fine. I was using SHARE security.
As a result of some leavers I have recently been upgraded to a second hand but
newer portable running windows 2000. I have zero documentation to help me.
The user management is a lot more complex AND I can no longer get it
connected to my home server.
Accounts on Windows 2000 seem to have a combination of domain (machin...

Yum + priorities plugin question
Hello all!
I've recently started using the priorities plugin as part of my best
practices. It's very effective, and prevents nasty things from
happening (like atrpms upgrading python and disabling yum.)
I'm wondering if there's a simple and elegant way to allow
package-name-based exclusions. For example: For my mysql cluster, I'd
prefer to have the latest mysql and

Voicemail file
Hi all,
When somebody leaves a message in the voicemailbox, is there a way to know the file name of it?
I need to return the voicemail file name in the deadagi command.
Thanks,

Ubuntu iSCSI install to COMSTAR zfs volume Howto
I apologize if this has been covered before. I have not seen a blow-by-blow installation guide for Ubuntu onto an iSCSI target.
The install guides I have seen assume that you can make a target visible to all, which is a problem if you want multiple iSCSI installations on the same COMSTAR target. During install Ubuntu generates three random initiators and you have to deal with them to get things

Sendmail vs. Postfix
Hah!!! This list is just too calm and mundane. The only thing we argue
about is the ''announce'' list vs. the ''user'' list. ;) So, it''s
springtime! I''m seeing all the regularly scheduled ''oil'' threads on my
motorcycle lists and thought "oh what the heck, lets get the ''oil''
thread going over on the CentOS
