Are there different classes of user?
Does each class of user need to access all six million files? If not,
configure samba to offer shares containing files needed by a particular
class of user, instead of all 6.4 million.

Pretty sure that not. That would totally mess up things like
OS/2 console windows and possibly VT100 (hardware) terminals
and just look like extra junk spewed before...

This isn't a TTY flag, it's a terminal mode enabled via an escape
sequence, there's actually multiple modes involved (CSI u as in the
subject), but xterm also supports "modifyOtherKeys" and Vim for
example will pick depending what the terminal reports

AIC for tweedie glm
Dear R-users,
I'm trying to model some data using a tweedie GLM approach. My response
variable is the number of pupae that are the offspring of a subordinate wasp
on a wasp's nest. However, they're not count data- for each nest, I only
know the mean number of pupae per subordinate, which is continous. The data
also contain a high proportion of zeros.

sftp: check-file-* extension
Hi,
I wondered if there had ever been consideration to implementing
check-file-handle / check-file-name in OpenSSH's sftp server? While
it's only specified in an expired draft[1] some other implementations
do support it.
