...tly updated my Ubunto from 11.04 to 11.10 and I can no longer play windows games via wine. However I can still launch and use Steam, but I cant play any of the games there, Steam shows the "preparing to launch..." message but the game never launches. Also with World of Warcraft the game launcher opens up, I can see the news and all, but when I push the play button the launcher closes and the game doesn't show up. I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue on using wine on ubunto after updating and if they found a work around it :P

greetings one and all. new install of centos 6.8. 3 kde panels @ left, top, right sides. left and top panel are for program selection. right panel for active running programs. added 'launcher' icons to left and top panels, but panels are not retaining launcher icons. when i close kde to save ~/.kde file and reopen kde, 1, 2, or all 3 panels will be missing launcher. has anyone else seen such or know of cure? much help appreciated. tia. -- The important thing is not to stop q...

The launchers appear to have the correct contents, but for some reason gnome-panel is not adding them to my menus. Does anyone know how to run the relavent gnome tools with options to see what's happen...
