"transmit_silence" not properly recognized on 1.8 ?
...sterisk when waiting
for DMTF input or when "Wait()" is called.
Also, there seems to be a small gap of 2 or 3 not sent packets when
playing several files one after another.
At the moment I'm using Asterisk 1.8 Certified (Cert 5).
In asterisk.conf I've set:
highpriority = yes
languageprefix = yes
internal_timing = yes
defaultlanguage = de
transmit_silence = yes
transcode_via_sln = yes
documentation_language = en_US

voicemail - "digits/1F does not exist in any format"
I've got a voicemailbox with one message store. When I try to read it,
I get the followiing error:
ast_openstream_full: File digits/1F does not exist in any format
Obviously, I can just clear out that mailbox, but is this a bug that I
should be reporting?

Fwd: Asterisk With Cisco Voice Router
Hi,
In our office, we're slowly migrating from a cisco call manager set up
to asterisk. Problem is management doesn't want to buy any other
hardware ?as they had already invested a lot in cisco. The main cause
of this is asterisk's added features like unique FAX number for
everyone in the company (which will be the same as phone DID), Voice
mail, Auto Answer etc yet we need thousands
