bug in extractAIC.survreg (PR#6910)
Full_Name: Dave Ramsey Version: 1.8.0 OS: win2000 Submission from: (NULL) (202.27.240.6) there is a bug in extractAIC.survreg in library MASS. A survreg model object has no component called "residuals". Hence n <- length(fit$residuals) returns 0 resulting in errors workaround: replace n <- length(fit$residuals) with n <- length(residuals(fit)) ### sorry: error

AICcmodavg functions and 'mer' class models
What is teh reason some functions in the AICcmodavg package do not work with 'mer' class models? One such example would be the 'importance' function. R2.0.1 for Mac OS X 10.3 problem
This combination was operating satisfactorily until I tried updating lme4 and Matrix. My attempts to do this ultimately broke R. The R console appears briefly, then collapses. I have tried downloading and reinstalling R without success. Typing 'R' into Terminal gives the error message bring up the usual introduction, then the error message: Error in methods:::mlistMetaName(mi, ns)

Repeated measures by lme and aov give different results
I am analyzing data from an experiment with two factors: Carbon (+/-) and O3 (+/-), with 4 replicates of each treatment, and 4 harvests over a year. The treatments are assigned in a block design to individual Rings. I have approaches this as a repeated measures design. Fixed factors are Carbon, O3 and Harvest, with Ring assigned as a random variable. I have performed repeated measures analysis
