...ebian i assume it is not a broken release made availble.
My main concern is why rsat cannot connect due to the \_ldap.... not resolving. It is as if there is something left unconfigured which is not mention in the user documentation.

I guess the nodes end up using different combinations of dev/inode as
primary key for the locking.tdb record. Probably because the device
numbers differ on the nodes and you didn't fix this known issue with
GPFS with the fileid VFS

I understand your point of view.
To my understanding samba is working fine but somehow the DNS is mangled by Windows 10. I hoped this would be a known issue and had a fix procedure available.

Samba as an active directory
Dear,
After a few attempts I now have my first Samba installed and running as active directory (on Debian-Turnkey)
Topics I struggle with are not Samba itself, yet.
I seek help to clarify wat is failing,what I did wrong or did not do yet.
1. Joining the domain: fails to resolve SRV type record for \_ldap.\_tcp.dc.\_msdcs.<domain> (typos here are mine, correct on machine)
2. Fail of 1 is
