How to sell linux tools?

How to add a new column to a matrix?
Hi - I am a beginner to the R language. I have written the following matrix: Z.mat=matrix(c(2,2,2,1,1,1,3,2,1,6,5,4,9,1,1,2,3,2), nrow=6) I would like to add a 4th column consisting of: 6, 9, 8, 15, 16, 17 I would also like to name each column a, b, c, d as well. Unable to access shares with capital letters in OpenSUSE 11.0 using samba-3.2.4
...name level option handled differently in OpenSUSE? If yes, please suggest any links where i can confirm this... 2. Is the samba server version (3.2.4) handling this differently. OCFS2 on Solaris / HP
Hi Ct has 9i database running on Solaris and they are currently using Veritas cluster file system . OCFS 2 is currently supported on Linux. Is there any future plan to roll out OCFS for Solaris / HP. Regards Lakshmi

I have a data set in text file with 3 columns and 2400 rows. i tried to read the table as fisrt<-("ex.txt",header=FALSE) I would like to read the third column values (which has 2400 value) and split them into matrix of size (600,4): as first 600 column values in first column in matrix and next 600 next

How is "Canonicalized pathnames" bit handled by samba server??
...ses when directly accessed from Windows using "net use". I observed the ethereal packet capture, and the only difference found was that, when accessed through windows the "Canonicalized pathname" bit is set and when accessing using rtsmb cifs library the bit is not set. thanks, Lakshmi Prasanna

How to flush file system buffers?
Hi all, I want to know whether there is any system call available to flush all ext3 file system buffer(especially the inode cache buffer ) to disk. message command not working
hi, i gave this syntax in the message command option message command = /bin/csh -c 'xedit %s; rm %s' & when service was restarted and message was sent from the windows machine there was no reaction in the linux machine. what changes should be made in order make it work. please help me. i want to invoke shell script program from the message command.
