The following behaviour (in R 0.62.3) is disturbing:

Is it deliberate??

How long is a day?

Time difference of 27 days

And don't tell me that the aggregating a monthly series into quarters
makes no sense!! (see response to Bug 9798).

R-1.7.0 build feedback: NetBSD 1.6 (PR#2837)
R-1.7.0 built on NetBSD 1.6, but the validation test suite failed:
