Dear Maintainer,
I noticed that d/copyright lacks information for Vinay Sajip and his permissive

You can see for which files it should be included:

Rails / ActionPack thread safety
...end of this mail) this poses quite a problem for me.
Is the lack of thread safety a conscious design decision (kind of
understandable for rails as such, but IMHO strange for ActiveRecord) or
just something nobody has found the time to take care of yet? Is there
any documentation on what exactly lacks thread safety? From
http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/HowTosWorkerThreads I got the
impression that it''s mainly a lack of connection pooling in ActiveRecord,
which (in theory) shouldn''t be too difficult to fix..

cannot rsync when source directory lacks write permission
I seem to be running into a problem where I am trying to rsync from a
source directory that lacks write permissions (i.e. r-xr-xr-x).
Presumably this is because rsync creates the directory on the
destination, then sets the permissions to match the source and then
tries to sync the contents of the directory, which it cannot of course
lacking write permission in the directory.
Is there a way to...

ISDN problem: lacking dialtone
Hi all,
this is a rather "newbie-oriented" question, so please bear with me...
The system running Asterisk has been provided with an AVM FRITZ!Card
PnP. SuSE Linux 9.0 recognizes it right after booting the system and it
seems to be configured (MSN) correctly...
The hwinfo looks like this:
---
pbx:/etc/asterisk # hwinfo --isapnp

Lack of protection bug in current R release candidate
The current R release candidate has a lack of protect bug (of very
long standing) with respect to the R_print.na_string and
R_print.na_string_noquote fields of the static R_print structure
declared in Print.h. This shows up very occassionally as incorrect
output from the following lines in reg-tests-2.R:
x <- c("a", NA, "b")
factor(x)
factor(x, exclude="")

Oh you have two installs of libvirt here. One in the Ubuntu image
that's running the job. This one lacks qemu-img. The second install
is the Docker container you've built which contains Fedora and has
qemu-img.
I can't tell which libvirt install your error is coming from, but
I'd guess the "host" Ubuntu one which lacks qemu-img

This gets back to my questions about what LiveIntervals lacks.
- What "data structure" are you referring to above?
- What specific def-use info is needed that we don't have access
to currently?
- A couple of weeks ago I asked about the comment in
LiveIntervalAnalysis referring to "conservative" computation.

Lack of physical memory evidences
In pre-ZFS era, we had observable parameters like scan rate and anonymous page-in/-out counters to discover situations when a system experiences a lack of physical memory. With ZFS, it''s difficult to use mentioned parameters to figure out situations like that. Has someone any idea what we can use for the same purpose now ?
Thanks in advance,
Dmeetry

It's "long standing" because it exists in versions of R going
back many years.
