Tag changes
A few days ago, I initiated a conversation with Jonathan Walther to
seek his advice on how he might tag a CD that I ogg'ed. Out of this
discussion, we decided to make a couple of changes to the proposed
standard.
1) A new LABELNO tag was added to the list. This would contain the
record label's catalogue number. Generally available on the face of
the CD. Probably more useful than an EAN or a UPN.
2) The PART tag was moved from the list of singletons to the list of

In the "Typical example for CLASSICAL [sic] music", you have both PART and
TITLE comments in quotes. Why?
I also suggest that you expand LABELNO to LABELNUMBER so we don't have
LABEL*NO*, but TRACK*NUMBER* and DISC*NUMBER*. Foolish inconsistency is the
hobgoblin of consensus building.
Finally, a style note: you seem to have a predilection for typing in all
caps--this makes you seem like a gadfly much like Jakob Nielsen. I therefore
