Low battery unexpected shutdown
...out 6 minutes.
Also I have 2 UPS:
- UPSdevice, which is the real UPS
- HeartBeat : virtual dummy device to monitor proper NUT communication (see
http://rogerprice.org/NUT/NUT.html#HEARTBEAT).
Looking at the logs when the event starts:

Files and folders not viewable (hidden)
...n see in the configuration I use LDAP in both severs and
clients to do the mapping between UNIX users and Samba Users. (Despite
the Domain Users name I'm not in a NT Domain, it is a single WorkGroup).
Any suggestions?

PowerOff on Debian, and driver issues
Hi!
After some problems doing the automatic shutdown of the UPS on Debian, I
have found this Debian bug:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=293401
Now I fixed it calling always ups-monitor from the halt script despite
being halt'ed' or powered off (and relying on the POWERDOWNFLAG be set).
Which is the correct aproach or best solution to workarround this bug?

simply configuring different values for os level en each server?

usbhid-ups disconnects with Eaton Ellipse 1000S
My UPS is a Eaton Ellipse 1000S (But its identified as MGE Ellipse
0463:ffff).
I have been using the usb interface with the usbhid-ups driver, but I
found that sometimes (too much times) the driver doesn't respond and NUT
doesn't receive changes nor notifications from the UPS.
The kernel lose the connections with USB device, in the kernel logs
appears:
