Of course, I got Eaton Powerware's RS-232 cable for FE700VA/etc. but
don't know what 'hook up a terminal emulator'... no Slackware GNU/Linux
BASH command 'f,' or do I run (or install/compile) a certain program to
enable/access that?

Best Power FE700VA?
I have an excellent old Best Power FE700VA but am suprised it's
unlisted.? I thought Best Power ones were for critical applications,
mostly for POSIX-based (Unix, etc.) servers, so I want to run it on
64-bit Slackware GNU/Linux.? I'm wondering why, or if it may be added in
the future, or if there are any other options.

subset data.frame at C level
Hi,
Hope you are well.
I was wondering if there is a function at C level that is equivalent to
mtcars$carb or .subset2(mtcars, "carb").
If I have the index of the column then the answer would be VECTOR_ELT(df,
asInteger(idx)) but I was wondering if there is a way to do it directly
from the name of the column without having to loop over columns names to
find the index?
Thank you
Best

Re: [PATCH] v2v: virtio-win: include *.dll too
Hi,
I am the guy who puts together the virtio-win package for Red Hat. I
recently took over this role so I'm still in learning mode.

Let us know how it goes, and we can update the various compatibility lists:

I don't think this would make a difference to virt-v2v, since
(currently) v2v matches bits of the path to try to determine which
driver(s) to apply. Code is here:
https://github.com/libguestfs/libguestfs/blob/master/v2v/utils.ml#L185-L226
As Vadim pointed out in the other email, this information is already
encoded in the .inf files, and that seems like a better place to get
it from. If we do that, then the exact path will matter even less.

API.
Looking at the code for `get1index()` it looks like it just loops over the
(translated) names, so I guess I just do that [0].

Re: LXC + USB passthrough = Operation not permitted
Further followups!
We are correlating DEBUG-level output from libvirt with the libvirt 1.2.2
code to try to figure out what libvirt is doing under the hood.
Even though we have the log level set to 1 (info) in our libvirtd.conf, we
are not seeing the VIR_DEBUG() [1] statements being printed out. There are
tons of other presumably-debug lines of output showing up in our log. We
are sort of
