I am TRYING to use the most recent release of wine. Am I correct to assume that there is no longer a .wine/config file? Am I also correct to assume that all documentation still refers to the .wine/config file, and gives NO F*CKING help about how to use the new system? If these two assumptions are correct, it seems to be a real stupid way to do things. How is a new user EVER supposed to

Hi is it possible and yes how do I have to configure Wine to do it, to run the applications on existing Windows XP Professional partition? I am especially asking concerning Delphi 7, which would take me about a day to install on the Linux partition. Thanks, Rainer

...ugh if you really want you might be able to delete the install dir and reuse the install dir in windows as the wine reg will get the apps keys at install time.
