Solaris removing ktkt_warnd from inetd.conf
Have a system admin who would like to stop running inetd on his Solaris
9 system. Currently the only thing left in his /etc/inet/inetd.conf
file is:
100134/1 tli rpc/ticotsord wait root /usr/lib/krb5/ktkt_warnd
ktkt_warnd
Does anyone know if they can remove this without causing any problems?

Solaris 11 can't join Active Directory Domain
...oskar
Password for oskar at DOMAIN.COM:
Warning: Your password will expire in 41 days on Wed Mar 13 19:44:52 2013
But if I run it for Administrator:
# kinit Administrator
Password for Administrator at DOMAIN.COM:
Warning: Your password will expire in 41 days on Wed Mar 13 18:36:46 2013
kinit: no ktkt_warnd warning possible
Any idea what is going wrong here?

samba 4 member server in WIn 2008 domain, wbinfo fails
I have started tinkering with samba 4.
I have a Windows 2008 active directory domain controller. It is also
the main DNS server but is not the wins server. The DNS server does
NOT allow DNS registration by client machines.
I have a fedora core 19 linux machine with samba 4.1.13 (bundled with
Fedora.)
smb.conf includes
security = ads
realm = MYDOMAIN.COM

[Bug 2548] New: Make pam_set_data/pam_get_data work with OpenSSH
...PAM is implemented in OpenSSH makes pam_set_data unusable for
passing data between PAM stacks.
This is causing issues with multiple PAM modules:
- with pam_zfs_key it precludes mounting encrypted home dirs
- with pam_krb5 it precludes storing TGT in user cache and registering
ticket renewal with ktkt_warnd
Current OpenSSH code flow with respect to PAM looks as follows.
