Is there an RPM for this? I think it's in the kdeedu package on the FC6 DVD. My wife is an amateur astronomer and she uses this excellent program. If upstream isn't including it, can I get it and not break my CentOS 4.4 system? (Also, I'd like to migrate her and my daughter to CentOS). TIA, Lanny

I would believe the the EATON ?5E 1500VA/900W UPS With 3 x OUTLETS would work just as well. Hi, I have an OEM of KStar UDC9101S which is Megatec protocol rs232 capable unit. So I use blazer_ser protocol=megatec /dev/ttyUSB0 with no issue to get NUT running. Please direct me what command should I issue to collect the data in order to include the UPS to device database? P.S. tryed /lib/nut/blazer_ser -DD... but no difference from a regular output has being added by the driver.

I talked to Tripp Lite Technical support. Their policy is that they only support Fedora and SUSE. There is no one there that could help with Ubuntu or NUT issues. The only answer they could give me was to port the rpm files to Ubuntu and use them. This is way beyond my experience level. Hello: The box is dual boot (Win XP & CentOS 5). A Dell Dimension 4300 Celeron. There was an intermittent problem with this last year and last Thanksgiving, I wiped the HD and installed Win XP and CentOS 5 clean. My daughter asked me to install KStars which is in the kdeedu RPM on the Fedora Core 6 Install DVD. I did that, without any problems, on my box and on my wife's box.
