I know you're looking to do this with asterisk, however, if you have trouble and want an outsourced solution, try www.openfax.com. You can do the IVR with Asterisk and then write a script that calls Openfax and they send out the fax for you.

...own issue and will be hashed out in the next release. I've been working with the developers at Sayson and they have been very helpful in providing us with fixes and solutions. My guess is that when the final release comes out in November, it's going to be very hard to keep them in stock.
