OT?
...etter, I would have preferred to not send the spam, but the volume was large and the labour of sorting out spam from legit email was prohibitive. Advice? A better list for this issue perhaps? Dave -- "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." Krishnamurti

XEN
I have a fairly high disk i/o intensive email server I am thinking of upgrading. I was thinking of upgrading it to CentOS 5.x 64bit. I was also thinking of running it as a guest under XEN. Would this allow me to more easilly transfer it to faster hardware in the future? Or would running as a guest seriously hurt disk i/o?

Centos 5.6 Implications of PGP53 ?
If one stays with Centos 5.x (currently on 5.6) is the problem/enhancement/incompatibility involving PHP53 likely to be resolved by general updates and/or the introduction of Centos 5.7 ? Paul.

(fwd from uke@jeremy.org) thanks and patch
Jeremy, I'm glad you like rsync. Why does your encryption program not produce a file of the same size every time it is run on the same input? I can see what the patch does, but I'm having a bit of trouble understanding whether it would be generally useful. -- Martin -------------- next part -------------- An embedded message was scrubbed... DomU clock out of sync
Hey all, I was watching some logs on a domU today and i suddenly noticed that the timestamps were off by something on the order of 47 seconds. I was surprised because *I don''t* run independent wall clocks. I checked some other domUs and the "drift" was also very close to that of the first domU. I also checked another dom0, Here the domUs were "only" out of sync by

OCFS2 went too slow
Hello, I have a 1TB ocfs partition mounted on mail server. It was a cluster before, but as one of the machines failed, the cluster has been taken by only one machine for ages. This server has courier-pop and imap, postfix and maildrop to deliver messages to the mailboxes. System is debian Etch, ocfs2-tools version 2.1. Recently, I tryed to insert a new machine into this cluster. Just right
