Samba server with NFSV4/kerberos
...vice NFS. This happens because
a windows user authenticates against the windows ADS server when he logs
in at windows and my MIT kerberos server does not know anything about this.
Does anyone have a similar setup and has a solution for the problem
described thats working?
Thanks
Rainer

The strange is that all of a sudden this setup (nfsserver+samba-client)
fails, where it has worked for 10 years without any trouble.
Thanks

Very high system load: Samba statfs call for filesystems in /etc/mtab in: fileid_load_mount_entries()
...nformation of the stat calls will probably be identical to
the underlying NFS mounted filesystem /import/user1, /import/user2.
Wouldn't it make sense to exclude bind mounted filesystems
from the stat call but instead limit the stat calls to the rest of the
filesystems?
Thanks

CTDB NFS setup?
...nodes? Does ctdb do this by some magic? Where can I tell ctdb
where these directories should be mounted.
Is it after all possible to use a simple NFS share as a shared directory
for CTDB or do I really need a real cluster filesystem klike OCFS2?
Can anyone help?
Have a nice day

Performance problem using clustered samba via ctdb
...400 clients on one of the servers it works just fine.
Now I ask myself two questions:
1. Is the nbenchmark kind of realistic test?
2. Why do throughput rates drop as much as I found out and is this a
known behavior of ctdb or is my configuration somehow bad?
Any ideas?
Thanks
