Hi all, I'm trying to connect to a remote Widnows server from my CentOS 5.2 / KDE 3.5.4-11, but everytime I try and connect I get the following error: Could not start rdesktop: make sure rdesktop is properly installed And I connect using krdc rdp:/remote.host.name - but I also tried krdc rdp:/ 1.2.3.4 from the command line. It pop's up the preferences box, where I specify the screen resolution, and then click connect. Hi all, Does anyone know why CentOS 5.+3 + latest KDE won't connect to a Windows 2008 server via Remote Desktop, yet it will work on a Windows 2003 server? I can easily connect to a Windows 2003 server, using rdp:/196.34.x.x and login and use the Windows 2003 server. But when I try the same with a Widows 2008 server, it just fails. Hi, Does anyone know of a good program for doing RDP to windows servers on C-7? The "Remote desktop viewer" program that comes with C7 is not reliable for me. I frequently have multiple long running RDP sessions and the keyboard will stop responding. The only way I can find to get it started again is to restart the program and login to the servers again. I have a win10 VM in virtualbox on my Linux (C7) desktop. I CAN connect to it with rdesktop 1.8.3 (now rather old, but it's the latest release), but cannot connect with remmina or krdc. Both of them just hang for a while then say they can't connect. Curiously, they all will connect to the win10 box in my office. Hi, I have recently installed centOS 7 and trying to start vnc server on it. Somehow, I am unable to make vncserver working. I have modified iptable rules and xstartup file but it did not help. Has anyone else faced this problem earlier? Any help would be appreciated. Regards Hersh

...and on maemo (which is clone of clone of Debian) handheld for quite some time, and it is still available on CentOS 7 (via either base or epel yum repository) - I just checked and it works on CentOS 7 the same way as it did on earlier CentOS systems. Hi, I''m trying to get copy/paste/cut working between my Xen host (FC8 64) and guest OSs (Centos 5.1, Windows 2000). I''ve tried the viewer in virt-manager, virt-viewer, and vncviewer. None of them seem to transfer clipboard contents between host and guest, even with both clipboard checkboxes selected in vncviewer options. Does anyone know how to get this working? Thanks.
