Bug#631102: #631102 and #679533.. related?
...rver bios made our issue go away. Knowing that... we now see, looking back, that after we switched on HT together with the lenny->squeeze (xen 3->4) upgrade, this issues started to pop up weeks later in production. The obscure bug did not bite during upgrade-testing. :| Thanks, -- Hans van Kranenburg - System / Network Engineer T +31 (0)10 2760434 | hans.van.kranenburg at mendix.com | www.mendix.com

Xen packaging in Debian
To: Debian xen and kernel team list, Ian Jackson Cc: Stefan Bader, maintainer of xen packages in Ubuntu Hi all, Short version: Hi! I'd like to help with the Xen packaging in Debian. Long version: Q: Who are you? How are you related to Debian an the Xen project? A: Hi, I'm Hans van Kranenburg, nickname Knorrie, I live in the Netherlands. I'm a Debian user since 2002, and have been using Debian and Xen at work (Mendix) since 2006, which has grown from a handful dom0s with 4GiB memory each to a bunch of clusters with let's say somewhere between 10TiB and 20TiB of physical memory i...

Bug#517863: Make logging of guest console output in dom0 via xenconsoled configurable
...xenconsoled', args) def start_blktapctrl(): if os.fork() == 0: mario:/usr/lib/xen-3.2-1/bin 0-# It seems the options used to start xenconsoled cannot be configured in Debian now. /etc/init.d/xend executes /usr/lib/xen-3.2-1/bin/xend which executes xenconsoled subsequently. Hans van Kranenburg

...was relevant was in Jessie, where it was already deprecated). Also, I just hijacked another of your bugs, 768005 , about the xl command completion. Hope that's fine, we can maintain this in the Xen packaging and upstream improvements. Thanks a lot for taking care of it up until now! Hans van Kranenburg

Bug#679533: Traffic forwarding issue between Xen domU/dom0 and ovs
...as-is right now, as I don't want to risk breaking a customer production domU right now. Luckily the're some sort of workaround to resolve issues when they arise by moving a domU around to other servers a few extra times until hopefully all network interfaces work again. :| -- Hans van Kranenburg - System / Network Engineer +31 (0)10 2760434 | hans.van.kranenburg at mendix.com | www.mendix.com
