And now onto the palm pilot with Kpilot
I've looked up the Kpilot manual, and I think I have an okay idea of what's going on with it. I'm trying to get it's detection feature to find my Palm Pilot. CentOS does seem to be able to recognize it, because if I run lsusb when running a hot sync, I get the following: [root at localhost dev]# lsusb Bus 0...

A few general questions
...h 8G of memory expandable to 16G and 2 internal 320G 7200rpm drives) I'll be loading Linux as soon as the machine arrives from Dell. Here's my questions: 1) Are there any published plans for CentOS to support KDE4, or is there a way to upgrade CentOS to KDE4 ? 2) Does anyone know if Kpilot is working with Palm Centro phones ? Is there a better solution besides Kpilot ? 3) Does Kmail support Exchange yet ? 4) Is there a way to migrate apple mail messages to Kmail ? 5) Is there a way to migrate apple address book and calendar events to the KDE address book and calendar ? Thanks...

I started working on the new design but quickly noticed to there are a lot of other projects in this field too. There are: coldsync, gpilot, kpilot, agsync, j-pilot, malsync, multsync, kitchensync, pilot-manager, pilot-mailsync and even more. There is a lot of redundant code and a lot of work is wasted by rewriting what already exists in another project. Thats where i had the idea of creating a standardized sync framework which could be used...
