I know where the file is, but I don't know if changes I make to it will actually stick, but that's for a different forum :) Just curious, since I appear to be running a PDC, is there a way to have a standalone samba server, and just get the user/password information from LDAP without doing

Factanal loadings as large as 1.2 with promax -- how unusual?
I am performing a large (105 variable) factor analysis with factanal, specifying promax rotation. I kow that some loadings over 1.0 are not unsual with that rotation, but I have some as large as 1.2, which seems extreme. I am skirting the assumptions of the model by using responses on a 7-point rating scale as data; I may have to go back and compute polychoric correlations instead of product

Difference in gnome between centos <> fedora
...at Fedora knows exactly which programm was started at which desktop (for example: thunderbird on desktop 1, firefox on desktop 2, nautilus on desktop 3, ..). The same procedure on Centos takes all programs on the first desktop, so I must arrange the programs on the right desktop. Question: why kows the gnome of Fedora al the postions and the gnome from CentOS doesn't? Is there a way to automaticly arrange the programs ? Gru? Antispam folder names
Is there anywhere a collection of folder names for the antispam_trash and antispam_spam configuration? Our problem is that in academia, you have a vast amount of different clients, and some, like Microsoft, use language-specific folder names *on the server*. So we're now collecting folder names to better handle the rare cases. Two more problems: 1. We needed to fix UTF-8 handling in the
