I simply added: newproperty(:pcfree) do desc "My description here" end In the corresponding file in lib/puppet/provider, I do something with :pcfree. Hello all, at the moment we are using samba 3.6.6 as pure fileserver on Debian Wheezy with external company-wide OpenLDAP as "passdb backend" (ldapsam). We want to use Debian Jessie, which have samba4 in stock, unfortunately out setup doesn't work with Samba4 anymore (NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL) I've read somewhere that Samba4 only works with internal LDAP server, is it correct?

Hi folks, When I enabled stored configs on my puppet master, it began keeping lots of open connections to the MySQL server (as far as I understand it opened one connection for each client run and never closed them). I set up the server to close idle connections after 5 minutes. Now the database server does close the connections but the puppet master keeps them in CLOSE_WAIT state and eventually

I''m trying to upgrade from 2.6.7 to to 2.7.6 and I''m running into an issue in my extlookup() calls. A lot of the variables which should be defined aren''t defined within extlookup.rb. I''ve tested 2.6.7 agent and 2.7.5 agent against the 2.6.7 master and 2.7.6 master. I adjusted extlookup.rb slightly to provide some debug output.
