As far as I can tell, this is everything I'd need. However, no logging
ist done, not even the file is created.
Do you have any suggestions how to proceed? Could there be something

Samba 3.0, LDAP, OUs and how to add machine accounts
...here seems to be no command line
parameter to change that. Is there _any_ way, to modify the OU for a new
entry, instead of using the one given in smb.conf? At the moment I
copy/paste new entries to get them into the right OU, which is not the
thing I want to do in the long run.

nmbd processes hanging
...strace results in:

And waiting there forever.
Is there anything I can do to help hunting down the problem? And is there
anything I can do _now_ to prevent it? A daily "killall -9" does not seem
to be a nice solution to me.
