[LLVMdev] [RFC] Add compiler scheduling barriers
After some internal discussions, we concluded that moving non-memory-access and non-side-effect instructions around memory barrier intrinsics is fine in almost any typical situation. In the rare occasions where reordering is undesirable, the programmer should use inline asm instead. Thus I'm dropping this RFC. Thanks for your comments. -Yi

[LLVMdev] Use perf tool for more accurate time measuring on Linux
Hi all, The LLVM benchmarking system produces very noisy results even on quiet machines. One of the sources of inaccuracy is the timing tool we are using. Because it is a user-space tool, the OS can context switch it and we will get an outlier result. Perf stat uses SW_TASK_CLOCK counter in kernel to measure time, therefore more accurate. It also does not get context switched. I've

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Add compiler scheduling barriers
Hi all, I'm currently working on implementing ACLE extensions for ARM. There are some memory barrier intrinsics, i.e.__dsb and __isb that require the compiler not to reorder instructions around their corresponding built-in intrinsics(__builtin_arm_dsb, __builtin_arm_isb), including non-memory-access instructions.[1] This is currently not possible. It is sometimes useful to prevent the

Anyone using SuperMicro SuperServer 6014P-8R?
Hi, Is anyone here using the SuperMicro SuperServer 6014P-8R with Asterisk? I'm especially interested if you've used it with a TE405P or TE410P. Cheers Tony -- Tony Mountifield Work: tony@softins.co.uk - http://www.softins.co.uk Play: tony@mountifield.org - http://tony.mountifield.org

PCI Master Abort
I am always getting multiple PCI Master Abort messages when I try to plug in a second TDM400P. I have asked this question before, but I nothing really solved my problem and I just put it on the back burner for a while. I am at a point where this is a crucial issue. I have read that the Zaptel devices share an IRQ, is this causing the problem? Is there a way that I can manually change the IRQs of

Asterisk behaving wierd!!

I have on the box 3 T1 TDM cards connected to 2 Rhino channel banks (FXS) and 1 CAC Access bank I (FXO) with so many softphones and ATA 186s. It has been working good till today some few hours ago. i just discovered that there were no dialtone on the phones. Asterisk did not spit out any error, it
