Tiff image handling like MODI
Greetings,
I have been searching for some application with functionalities like
MODI (Microsoft office Document Imaging)
Many I have checked does not cut it or not cross platform.
Evince just allows multipage viewing, not extraction of individual
pages in to another file.
GUI is a necessity.
I am aware of tifflib, imagemagick, but but not sure about a decent
GUI wrappers for them.

R and Memory
I would suggest that you make a more thorough search of the R-Archives.
(http://finzi.psych.upenn.edu/search.html) If you do you will find this
discussion has been had several times and that the type of machine you
are running will have an impact upon what you can do. My feeling is that
you are going have to knuckle down with the documentation and understand
how R works and then when you have

EZStream and Cue Sheets
I could, but I have this big old Fedora system just waiting for me to
get LS working on it, so I think I need to concentrate on making that
happen. If it's hard, difficult, tedious, inconvenient, then that's
what it is. I want the cue sheet capability some way somehow, so I'm
just going to have to knuckle down and buckle down and do it. Right?

1.0.beta7
Sorry, the authentication problem still wasn't actually fixed in beta6.
Now, this time I tested every possible authentication case that it
really works.
I'll soon create a CVS branch which is going to stabilize into the 1.0
release. I won't add new features there so it shouldn't really get
broken anymore, at least because of new features..

Six steps to better SIP security with Asterisk
In case any of you were wondering why there has been a fairly notable
upswing in the attacks happening on SIP endpoints, the answer is
"script kiddies." In the last few months, a number of new tools have
made it easy for knuckle-draggers to attack and defraud SIP endpoints,
Asterisk-based systems included. There are easily-available tools
that scan networks looking for SIP

Looks like a lot of tedium. I'll give it a go on Red Hat, but not

[LLVMdev] Preliminary patch for GDB support for JIT
...the program, we are
able to produce a proper backtrace.
There is a lot of room for improvement, but I have to start somewhere,
and this works. Here is a GDB session debugging a simple JITed
program that makes three nested calls and segfaults without debug
info, and then with debug info:

Asterisk High-Capacity Stability
Thanks Alex, some great ideas.
I think, however, I'm leaning towards Asterisk at this point- since I have
quite a bit of experience there, and very little with SER. At this point,
I'm wondering from a dimensioning standpoint, what kind of capacity my
machine will have (Dual Core Xeon 2.4GHz 4GB RAM). As I said, I don't plan
to do any transcoding. I read the voip-info page on

Thanks. I thought lm() function is for linear model, such as the
correlation below:

[LLVMdev] OCaml
Hi!
I just took another look at the LLVM project and it has come along in leaps
and bounds since I last looked. I've been working through the (awesome!)
tutorial and am now really hyped about the project.
I am particularly interested in using LLVM to write compilers for OCaml-like
languages in OCaml-like languages. This requires some core functionality that
would be generically useful:
