Rails training
Are there any known resources available in the Dallas area for a one
day, one-on-one training in Ruby? The user is a professed novice, but
has done a bit a ROR development, mostly examples in the Agile book.
We need a person who is knowledable, and doesn''t mind teaching a newbie.
We need to know the availability and the cost...

NPTL problem on Centos 4.4
...et a SIGSEGV, and looking
at a stack backtrace the stack appears to be trashed, or at least
the backtrace does not reflect reality. Single-stepping into the call
doesn't get you anywhere except a sigsegv. I'm about to delve into it
at the instruction level, but I must admit I'm not very knowledeable
about 32-bit intel assembly language.
Needless to say I've read and re-read and re-re-read the man page for
pthread_create(), and have been tweaking the calling sequence in subtle
ways to see if I can change the behavior, but so far to no avail.

OpenSSH-Client without reverse tunnel ability
Good day!
A few weeks ago, we had a security breach in the company I'm working
for, because employees used "ssh -R" to expose systems from our internal
network to some SSH server in the outer world.
Of course, this is a breach of our internal security policy, but lead us
to wonder, whether there is a technical solution to prevent our users
from creating SSH-reverse-tunnels.
