Relaying between icecast 2.3 servers
...eamingserver:8000/admin/streamlist.txt just returns a empty HTML(<html><body></body></html>) document. I have read in another document that i need to define the mountpoints. I tried it, but nothing changed. Can someone give me a hint, how to get relaying working? -- Lars Kneschke Metaways Infosystems GmbH Pickhuben 4 20457 Hamburg Germany eGroupWare Hosting, Development, Support and Training E-Mail: mailto:l.kneschke@metaways.de Web: http://www.metaways.de Tel: +49 40 317031-21 Fax: +49 40 317031-81 Mobile: +49 175 9304324

windows 98 and samba problem.
Hello, Whenever I reatart samba on my bsd or my linux machines windows 98 network neighborhood looses either machine, I've got samba set up as a wins server, and the 98 machine pointing to it, but this doesn't help. The 98 machine can see it's own shares, but not the samba server, any ideas? I'm running 98, freebsd 3.4 release, slackware linux 7.0 and samba 2.05 and 2.06. Thanks.

problems with w2k and samba PDC
I simply cannot join my domain controlled by a samba PDC (vers. 2.0 or the newest version 2.0.7) with w2k professional. If I try to join the domain a messagebox appears and claims that the particular domain doesn't exist (allthough I know it does!). If one examines the logfiles, it seems as if they don't understand themselves at all.

Problems authenticating against NT PDC
I'm relatively new to Samba so please excuse any inconsistencies with my terminology. I'm running Samba 2.0.6 on Solaris 2.6 and having problems creating the Samba server machine account on an NT PDC. I already have an NT based domain 'PCDEV' which consists of a number of NT 4.0 workstations as well as a PDC ('AULE') and BDC running NT 4.0 Server with sp5 (??). My NT

Install config: lighttpd dead but pid file exists
I''m trying to run rails on RHED (centos 4) by following this tutorial: http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/RailsOnRHEL and something is gone a bit astray during the install process that is not allowing lighttpd \ apache to run rails on the web. Since i''m running Centos, I should mention I''m NOT running SELinux. As it is, i''m at a total loss as to why
