IAX to zaptel echo
.... I have one X100P and one TDM400P card with 2 modules enabled.
I would like to know if anyone encoutered this problem and how to
minimize/eliminate the echo, if possible. Also, we will eventually be
using a PRI with a T100P or a T400P, would the echo problem still be
present?
Regards,

Hardware support for TDM
Hi All,
Last week I had problems installing the TDM DK on my Dell Dimension
2100. Digium support confirmed that there is an incompatibility problem
between the TDM card (TDM400P) and the motherboard, and that problem
will be fixed sometime in September (which is too late for me). Also,
Digium tech support were unable to provide me with a list of supported
motherboards.
Can someone tell me what

Fax detection when dialing out
Hi all,
I am having a problem detecting a FAX machine on the other end when I
dial out a number, even though I hear it playing the 'violin' when it
answers. I would like to be able to detect the event of having a FAX
answering the call I generate through Asterisk. I am testing on a X100P.
I looked in the detect_dtmf() function in dsp.c and even though I see it
implements a goertzel

IAX phones and CPU usage problem
Hi all,
We have an asterisk server running on redhat 9, with a TE410P card
connected to 4 PRIs, on a dual 2.6GHz xeon server with 2GB of RAM. We
also have 10-12 agents using IAX based softphones on winxp. Almost all
of the usage consists of outbound calls done automatically through the
PRIs and connected to an agent once answered. The agents perform the
'ready' operation via IAX by

Dropping duplicate answer
Hi all,
We have the full logging enabled on one of our client's servers running
stable 1.0.3 with a TE410P and T1 trunks using Wink Start, 99% of the
calls being inbound. I've noticed in the logs that the following three
DEBUG messages get repeated quite often, around 2000 times a day. I
would like to know what can cause this, and does it hide a problem on
the lines? The client reported
