creating new users - missing uidNumber
I have a script which carefully manages uidNumber and gidNumber attributes
for users and groups. We just recently put it into production. I plan to
release it as open source software soon -- and get Rowland's blessing :-)

Roaming Profiles
Hello,
there is still something that does not work: Sometimes, when session is
open, there is an error about user profile : "Problem with your local
profile. Your session was opened unsing yuour local profile saved
previously".
In the Event Observer, I can see this error : the process cannot access
the file because it is being used by another process
But wich file ? No idea...

GPO ACL
Hello,
I've en error again in the samba AD world.
I use RSAT with the DOMAIN\administrator account to make some GPOs.
Sometimes it doesn't work. So I have checked GPO ACL with 'gpo aclcheck'
command, and this is the return :
got OID=1.2.840.48018.1.2.2

Roaming profiles
Hi,
Just a quick question about Roaming Profiles : Is there a way to force
Windows to use Roaming Profils only on the share network, and without
local copy ?
I set Roaming Profile on a samba share with a GPO, but some users have a
big profile so login is very slow
Thanks
Tom

Roaming Profiles
Hello,
I created a GPO Roaming Profiles redirection in my AD as shown on this
page
(https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Roaming_Windows_User_Profiles#The_Windows_Roaming_Profile_Versions).
The data are stored in a sharing file server (samba member domain).
When I open a windows user session it doesn't work. Event observer says
"Access denied".
So I changed 'chmod 1750

delayed write files errors
Hello Rowloand,
ok, I just keep "default" for the mounting.
I changed the path of my share :
[homes]
comment = User Home Folder
path = /home/%U
read only = no
follow symlinks = yes
wide links = yes
browseable = no
hide files = /desktop.ini/$RECYCLE.BIN/
I need Wide Links because in the share there are symbolics links to

delayed write files errors
Hello,
First of all : Happy New Year to you all :-)
I need your help for a problem.
I've 2 servers on CentOS 7: a Samba DC+AD and a Samba Files Sharing.
In the Samba file sharing server, all data is store in a RAID Disk
partition wich is mounted in /data/ (fstab :
UUID=a47ea879-7072-4e8f-a668-3f5a86e58ef2 /data ext4
