texi2dvi runs but produces no output
...issue, but I have set full access to all the
folders involved in this process (R, LyX, MiKTeX bins for example),
and this got it working prior to updates. I am hoping that is not it.
It seems like an issue with texi2dvi.

Short courses for beginners?
...ing in R. I've seen
announcements now and then on this list, but none recently. Is there a
central place where such announcements are posted, other than here? Anyone
know of upcoming courses? I checked the newsletter and mailing list
archives.

Another suggestion in the archives involved creating a list with the
strings that were then passed through parse(), but that did not work
either.
Corrections, suggestions, or redirections greatly appreciated.

i_blocks error during fsck
Hi all,
I'm running ext3 with Linux 2.4.19pre5aa2 (and thus ext3 0.9.17)
and e2fsprogs 1.27 on an x86 laptop with an IDE disk (with DMA
enabled). The partition in question was mounted with the
data=journal and nosuid options set. All the partitions are set to
be fscked on bootup every 30 days (although I don't think this
is strictely necessary, better safe than sorry).
