kint error after time change
While doing some security testing on our domain controller (DC), part of
which involved setting the system clock ahead 13 months, samba
authentication stopped working. Since we have synched the time on all
Windows and Unix systems. We have removed the unix systems from the DC
in an attempt to re-add them. We've modified the Kerberos policy on the
DC to allow more time, and even turned it

lrm-function: Interpretation and error message
...tion (TTV.mott*BEHANDLING) is 0.0069? And what does the "TOTAL"
p-value signify?
Then, I ran exactly the same script on another dataset and got the
following error message:
singular information matrix in lrm.fit (rank= 0 ). Offending
variable(s): Error in est[z$pivot[nvi:(irank + 1)] - kint] :
only 0's may be mixed with negative subscripts
Does anyone know? I suspect that the first question is probably rather
easy for you clever guys but I'm a statistics noob so... looking forward
to your help.

net view work alike
Hi all,
Is there a command that emulates net view? I want to dump a list of all NetBIOS hosts actively on the LAN.
Thanks,

[PATCH] klibc: fix gen_initramfs_init.sh when using -d
gen_initramfs_list.sh failed to generate a dependency list when
it was supplied the -d option.
Restructured gen_initramfs_list.sh to support dependency info with -d.
This also fixes a bug where we did not properly process
when more than one dir was specified.
Finally update dependency info for the -d case (list_default_initramfs)
In usr/Kbuild remove "" around CONFIG_RAMFS_SOURCE so the

auto start
Hi,
I'm fairly new to both linux and samba.
I'm running RH8 with Samba 2.2.7a.
Samba's installed and is basically working, but can anyone tell me how I
can get samba to start when linux boots up?
I'm currently having to start it by running the following commands;
./usr/local/samba/sbin/smbd -D
./usr/local/samba/sbin/nmbd -D
I've got the Using samba book from o'reilly, but

ARP resolution not done from one end
Folks,
We have a setup where each mobile node connects with 1 or more tinc instances (over different links) to a central node. tinc is running in switch mode. The link is chosen by setting the IP address on the active link's interface, and the central node sees this after the first packet on the link, and moves the MAC address to a different 'ethernet port' (link). This works really

[R-pkgs] Major Update to rms package
...* Removed incl.non.slopes and non.slopes arguments from all predict
methods
* Changed all functions to expect predict(..., type=''x'') to not
return intercept columns, and all fitting functions to not store column
of ones if x=TRUE
* Changed nomogram argument intercept to kint, used default as
fit$interceptRef
* Made bootcov behave in a special way for orm, to use linear
interpolation to select a single intercept targeted at median Y
* Revamped all of rms to never store intercepts in design matrices
in fit objects and to add intercepts on demand inside predict...
