For me, Counter Strike: Source crashes somewhat frequently, but it only seems to be when I play Gun Game, as opposed to de_dust2 or cs_office and other normal game modes. What would the debug options I should use to create a log? I know I could just do +All, but that would kill performance, and it'd probably crash just because it'd run so slow. I've been testing out Red Orchestra on Wine, and when I run it, it tells me that wineserver crashed and to run ulimit -c unlimited and try again. So I did that, and tried, that time it didn't tell me wineserver crashed, but it did. I've tried both 1.1.15 and 1.1.14, and I can't get my Counter Strike Source to launch. All that happens is a window comes up and says "Launching Counter Strike Source...", then the window closes, and the game never launches. If I have a working install of Windows, could I copy the entire Windows Folder (C:\Windows) into Wine's Windows folder? If I have all native dlls, will it improve compatibility and performance at all? I understand the wine devs can't do this is they don't want to be sued, but for an end user like me, there shouldn't be a problem.

Just yesterday before I updated to wine-1.1.23, the virtual desktop was working fine, but after I updated I can't get it to work. I open up winecfg and enable it, and then I close it and open winecfg again and my checkmark is still there, but winecfg doesn't open in the virtual desktop. I'm not sure if I should file this as a bug, so I'm wondering if anyone else is having this
