WERR_BADFILE and Epson Stylus C62
...n I try to tell samba about the drivers, it
fails. This happens if I use the add printer wizard and if I try to do
it manually with the rpcclient adddriver command. I used the
'getdriver' command on my win box to identify the driver files, and
they are all in the print$/W32X86 directory:

Like I said, if it is not something obvious to you, then we can perhaps

possible to do that?

Need help!!! Newbie to Wine.
I have installed Red hat 7.1 on my Ultra Hinote laptop. I was quite
proud to get my sound working and ethernet/modem card working and X
window. I was surfing on the web and notice a development product called
WINE touting the capability to 16/32 API apps in the wine environment
with it sitting on the Linux kernel. I got the latest rpm from the WINE
website in rpm format and ran the command rpm -i

printing problem
Hi,
We have had a server crash and are now unable to print from the connected pc's
I have installed samba 2.2.7a and use the sysv printing system
The printers are configured using HP hppi
>From the unix host I can send a print to the printer
I have already checked the spool directory for the printers. and the spool directory that is used by the hppi daemon. They exist.

newbie question about using rsync for backups
Hi all,
I'm wanting to make weekly backups of host qin to host elijah. I set a
crontab to run a script that effectually executes this rsync command:
rsync -ave ssh --exclude-from=excludes.txt --delete /
elijah:/home/backup/qin
host qin is running gentoo linux with rsync version 2.5.6.
host elijah is running debian linux (stable) with rsync version 2.5.7.
the excludes.txt file looks like
