ggplot, qplot in loop

yes, me again trying to work with qplot ;-)
I would like to make several single plots within a loop, like this
(simplified and so on...):
trials <- c("A","B","C")

qplot, stacked area, own colourscheme
...;cover grasses" => dark
green, "cover open soil" => brown ...), but I did not get it so far.
I tried several variations with area_geom, scale_manual but without
success...
For example (which does not work, it just shows the standard colourscheme):

bubbleplot for matrix
Hi all,
I would like to ask if it is possible to use bubbleplot for a 20x20
matrix, instead of a dataframe with factors in columns.
The idea would be to get a tabular representation with bubbles like in
Rnews_2006_2 article, which look very nice.
