Re: Qt & KGPG
Beau, If you are installing Qt, you may want to take a look at the resources available at the "KDE for Red Hat Linux" site, http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/ I do not know about KGPG. Setting up cryptography for kmail on the boxes in question is where the problem lies. KMail does not appear to be seeing the keyrings. When you try to select your key, the list is empty. If you type in the key ID and ask it to fetch the keys you get...

Encrypting a file
I'm running C6. I want to encrypt a file or two, before I email it. Now, I have a very long passphrase - I used it a number of years ago. and that worked. It's about a paragraph long. For the last year or two, since one upgrade, kgpg popped up a window when I logged in. Until a few days ago, I just hit cancel. But, since this came up, I tried to run it. It got to "enter a passphrase"... and it FROZE MY ENTIRE WORKSPACE. I couldn't copy and paste from another window. I couldn't change focus to *anything*. S...

PGP On Centos
Hey I need to run some pgp commands, -what's the name of the package supported by Centos that will allow me to work with pgp? I need to run pgp --fingerprint key.name or it's equivalent. Pro question. Google searches didn't show much, tried to search for pgp, gnupg, openpgp, pgp on centos, openpgp on centos, centos/pgp. No worthy results came back. Any advice? -karlski
