Anyone successfully using CentOS 5 and a Keyspan USA-19HS USB-Serial Adapter?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I occasionally need to connect to a serial device and in the past have used minicom and the Keyspan USA-19HS adapter. It has worked flawlessly. Once I upgraded, I could never seem to make this work. The kernel recognizes the adapter, it gets properly assigned as /dev/ttyUSB0, and minicom seems to transmit data to it (as evidenced by the green LED on the device that flashes whenever I hit a key...

Powercom EBK 500 ms behind a Keyspan serial to USB
Hello Does anybody know if it's possible to monitor a Powercom EBk 500 (RS232)? the trick is that I am using a raspberry pi, it does not have RS232 so I connected a keyspan RS232 to USB adapter, but so far I can?t make this work. Thanks for your time to read this. -Edgar -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... That model isn't listed in our compatibility table: http://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html?manufacturer=Powercom However, there are at least two drivers which are compatible with other serial models: powercom and blazer_ser (nutdrv_...

Serial communication problem
I'm trying to make my little Asus eeePC 901 into a useful navigation tool that I can use on my boat. I'm running Ubuntu with the 2.6.24-21-eeepc kernel. For chart plotting I run SeaClear_2 (SC) under Wine. SC communicates as it should with my GPS via a Keyspan USB to serial dongle, both sending and receiving works with this device. I am also running the small app AISMon under Wine. This app decodes AIS data from a VHF reciever via the computer's sound card. (AIS=Automatic Identification System for ships). Also this program seems to run as it should....

MGE Ellipse USB cable config ?
Hi everyone, This is not directly NUT related, but i don't know where else I can still ask this. I have been using a pretty decent 2nd hand MGE ellipse premium 1200VA for a while now at home. http://www.mgeups.com/download/doc_intl/ small/premium/389uk.pdf It's been working very well for me on linux, but my linux server has recently passed away and now I only have Macs left.

New UPS supported in 2.0.4
Hi, I need to get a USB based UPS for a system which is running NUT 2.0.4 (a Debian Etch system). Does anyone know of a UPS that I can buy today that is supported by 2.0.4? Unfortunately upgrading the OS (and NUT) isn't an option. Previously, we used the Powerware 5110 (which used the bcmxcp_usb driver) and that worked fine, however that UPS has been discontinued and is no longer

nutdrv_qx and Best Power equipment
Hi Daniele, I finally got a Best Power Patriot Pro II fixed up with a new battery and cable, and tried it with nutdrv_qx (since it uses a variant of the Q1 protocol). It auto-detected the use of Q1. It looks like things mostly work: bestups: battery.charge: 100.0 battery.voltage: 13.9 battery.voltage.nominal: 12 device.mfr: Best Power device.model: Patriot Pro II 400 device.type: ups
