SFTP - Private/Public Authentication Keysets Beyond The First Set
I'm new to SFTP and using this mailing list was able to successfully create
my first Private/Public keyset for a vendor hosting the SFTP server (I'm the
client). I created the keyset by typing this:
# ssh-keygen -t rsa
When asked for the password/passphrase I hit <Enter> and afterwards "id_rsa"
and "id_rsa.pub" were created in "/root/.ssh/". I

Wireless VOIP Keysets? Recommendations?
Any Recommendations on a "Good" Wireless Voip Keyset that works well with Asterisk?
I would prefer one that is IAX2 as it works better behind a Nat'd Firewall..
But I am reaching out to you guys as you all would know what would work the best :-)

You can also set up a personalised ssh config file in the ~/.ssh
directory of the user employed to establish the sftp/ssh connections:
#BOF
# /home/myuser/.ssh/config
# Host parameter is any arbitrary string.
# sftp remoteuserid at

You really don't need multiple ppk pairs for different hosts. One for
all is what I do. As long as you keep the private key private you only
need distribute the one public key every where you need secure
identification.

Just looking some comments from gurus about this proprietary systems and

I did not find anything useful or reasonable about their products on
their website or even in Internet.... except sales.

OpenSSH Feature Requests
Dear OpenSSH-Team,
after looking through your website (Bug Reports, FAQ, etc.) this is the
best email-address I could find for submitting a feature idea/request.
Please excuse if this is not the correct address and kindly forward.
When working with OpenSSH in larger networks I often had to use
different keys for different hosts (with or without passphrases) to gain
proper access. The major

aggregate by part of a field
Hi All,
I have a data frame like
a = data.frame(date = c(20081201, 20081202, 20081201), product = c("a b c d e", "a b c g h t", "d e h a c e h g"), sales = c(1, 2, 3))
Now I want to aggregate the sales by part of the a$product. 'Product' is the product name, a string separated by a space. The key in my aggregate function is

names function for environments?
I think ls(, sort=FALSE) would be more explicit and thus clearer. There is
much precedent for having arguments that request less work to be done e.g.
unlist(use.names=FALSE). Yes, the extra typing is a bit painful, but there
is no intuitive reason why names() would be unsorted, while ls() would be
sorted. While it is tempting to use an existing function for this, the word
"names" is

names function for environments?
Since the contract of ls() is to sort, there is nothing wrong with
programmers depending on it. And there are many functions that could be
made 60X faster, but is it worth it? But I did notice that
as.list.environment has a sorted=FALSE argument already, so I guess
identical(names(x), names(as.list(x))) could be made to be TRUE, assuming
the order is at least persistent, if undefined, so that is a

Newbie with questions
I have an existing Meridian PBX system that I am looking at replacing with Asterisk for the multi-office features. One of the many areas that I am unclear on is if we can use the existing phones from the old PBX system? Some are Meridian M7310 and some are Norstar M7208 models.
They each support multiple lines with a multi-line display, but I haven't seen anything on this list about sporting

names function for environments?
I think that the "sorted" and "all.names" arguments are really only
appropriate for pretty printing to the screen. I think it is a bit
unfortunate that environments have a names accessor that is 60X slower
than all the other types. This is likely due to the history of
environments, which were originally just for behind-the-scenes tasks.
Now that users can use environments as

Private Key Unavailable After Domain Password Change
Hi All!
We are currently running one AD DC on 4.11.12 and one on 4.10.17 (scheduled
for replacement later this month). Sometimes when a user changes their
domain password, we are seeing an issue where the private key is no longer
available. Users on Windows 10 v1909 or v2004. This does not happen to all
users.
We have users connecting to one of our environments using OpenVPN. We have
been using

Convert keys (OpenSSL to OpenSSH)
Hello,
I would like to use Public Key authentication with OpenSSH. I am trying to use a
public / private key set created using CA.pl. http://www.openssl.org/docs/apps/CA.pl.html
I am not sure but I think my OpenSSL keys will not work until some conversion takes place.
I was able to get them working between Windows (Putty.EXE) and my SSHD server but
PuttyGen.EXE converted the public keys
