Hi, I'm running CentOS 3 on a Dell celeron 500/256 MB. It won't boot without a keyboard and that is a problem for me. I know it is not a perfect setup, but I'd like to have it boot w/o a keyboard. The Bios doesn't seem to care too much about the fact that no keyboard is plugged in, as it loads Grub and starts booting the kernel. It hangs, usually around Total HugeTLB memory

Wowzer, so I have *everything* working now... tcp/ip, and the game itself, with the exception of keyboard, and maybe sound. Actually in the log, I don't see any mention of the errors for no keyboard. Anyone have any ideas, on how to turn on the keyboad, er make wine recognize it? Thanks, -tm

...ing started. So, the system is doing normal password authentication even if "UsePAM yes" is configured. But, we need the sshd server should pass through PAM so that the trusted system behaviour will be taken care by PAM modules. In order to achieve this, we like the sshd server to do the keyboad-interactive feature for Password authentication also. That is., even the normal password authentication it has to go through PAM. First of all,what are the impacts for this change in design? Is this change valid? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Kumar

Everyone, Is there a way to have Centos boot when no keyboard is present. I have a firewall and another mail server that would fit into a closet a little better without a keyboard. I tried to remove the keyboard but the system hangs giving me notice that a keyboard was not found. Greg Ennis
