Samba 3.0.4 and kerberos 1.3.x
...rash you system.
The only way I see is to install kerberos from sources (tarballs). However, I
don't know what will happen
to the system, if I install a tarball over existing rpm installation. As far as
I know, that's highly not recommended.
Is there anybody who had managed to install Kerveros 1.3.x on Redhat 8/9 and
proved it worked properly?
I would really appreciate if you give me some clue how to do that.
Thanks a lot.
Andrey.

authenticate to samba using email address
Hi,
Perhaps a strange question, but is it possible to configure samba to
accept an emailaddress as a username for authentication to a UNC network
path?
(so: "username at domain.com" next to the standard "DOMAIN\username" or
"username at samba.domain.com")

WANTED: mod_ntlm_winbind developer
I need some assistance from a talented C programmer, preferably with
some experience in Apache 2.0 module development.
For a while, I have had a version of mod_ntlm_winbind cleaned up to work
with ntlm_auth, and handling both NTLM and Negotiate HTTP authentication
via Samba 3 and Samba4's ntlm_auth utility.
I have not had the time or energy to properly maintain (it needs basic
auth added),
